It went up when I posted one of these text-only posts, thanks for being patient
I tried to post this morning but it still hasn’t gone up I’ll try again later.
In the US they’re showing Roger Waters’ The Wall some more. It was supposed to be a one time thing but they’re having more showings. It’s not really a documentary like they said, check it out, it is awesome I saw it the first night. It’s a lot of concert footage and random other stuff mixed in, has some funny parts, some sad parts, and a british guy firing an MP40 into a concert. Boom. Best review. 27 out of 10 stars on my review 9 out of 10 on the movie.
Hello,
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on now
I hear you’re feeling down
Well, I can ease your pain
And get you on your feet again
Relax
I’ll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re saying
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I’ve got that feeling once again
I can’t explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am
I have become comfortably numb
I have become comfortably numb
O.K.
Just a little pin prick
There’ll be no more ‘aaaaaaaah!’
But you may feel a little sick
Can you stand up?
I do believe it’s working, good
That’ll keep you going through the show
Come on, it’s time to go.
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re saying
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
I have become comfortably numb.
Well, without being there and not seing the gun in person, I’d say go to a gunsmith
There were almost no favorable posts on my dashboard for me to upload for me and you, so I guess I ought to make it up to y'all tomorrow.
Well none of this art is mine, so you’d have to find and ask the author.
What shall we use to fill the empty spaces, where waves of hunger roar?
Shall we set out across the sea of faces, in search of more, and more applause?
Shall we buy a new guitar?
Shall we drive a more powerful car?
Shall we work straight through the night?
Shall we get into fights?
Leave the lights on?
Drop bombs?
Do tours of the east?
Contract disease?
And bury bones, break up homes, send flowers by phone?
Take to drink go to shrinks, give up meat rarely sleep?
Keep people as pets, train dogs race rats, fill the attic with cash, bury treasure, store up up leasure, but never relax at all…
With our backs to the wall.

Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and like a million other bands, pretty much all rock, especially harder rock like in What Shall We Do by Pink Floyd
It was just before dawn
One miserable morning in black ‘forty four.
When the forward commander
Was told to sit tight
When he asked that his men be withdrawn.
And the Generals gave thanks
As the other ranks held back
The enemy tanks for a while.
And the Anzio bridgehead
Was held for the price
Of a few hundred ordinary lives.
And kind old King George
Sent Mother a note
When he heard that father was gone.
It was, I recall,
In the form of a scroll,
With gold leaf adorned,
And I found it one day
In a drawer of old photographs, hidden away.
And my eyes still grow damp to remember
His Majesty signed
With his own rubber stamp.
It was dark all around. There was frost in the ground
When the tigers broke free.
And no one survived
From the Royal Fusiliers Company Z.
They were all left behind,
Most of them dead,
The rest of them dying.
And that’s how the High Command
Took my daddy from me.
